To allow this blog to keep on living it's virtual life or to send it off to internet heaven..... We are done with this for the class but I have enjoyed putting wild brackgrounds on it and spewing forth useless thoughts.

Browsers baby!!!

Well, I am not as excited about it as my title seems to imply.. I use Explorer pretty much every where I go. Home, school, whatever. I really should break out of my shell and try something different. Google Chrome sounds interesting because they focus on speed and out here in the sticks where I live, I could use all the speed I can get.
I mean, I like trying differents beers and foods and such so trying a different browser should not be a big deal, right?

Hmmm Handheld devices?

Well , I don't personally have anything I would consider to be much of a handheld device. My daughter on the other hand has an LG smartphone which seems to be attached to her by an invisible string. It functions as a life support system because when she misplaces it she goes into shock. All kidding aside I asked her what she likes about it and she said it is easy to use the touchpad screen, she can update her Facebook status from anywhere and it takes great photos.
On the other hand she said it is a little more bulky that what she would like. I think if it was much smaller she would loose it and never find it.
I would like to see her have a device with voice activation. Then maybe she would be forced to use proper grammer when speaking,.........

I found this creepy new background a little bit ago. I just had to put 'IT' on for a while. Great book and was a good movie as well.

New show I'm going to watch

Well, not new but new for me. I bought Firefly, The Complete Series. It is a sci-fi show which got really good reviews back when it came out. I read one review that said it was the best sci-fi series ever. I am sceptical but now I can check it out.
I just finished season 2 Sons of Anarchy. Good stuff. Bikes, guns , girls ; all the guy stuff I can handle...

And just where the heck is Walking Dead at? I loved the 6 episodes they released and all of a sudden it was gone. I double checked my DVR to make sure I did not delete it from my to do list. Strange.

Thumbs up to a quiet house

Ahhh, my daughter and grandson are going to Texas for a week. I may be bouncing off the walls pretty quick but I will love it. It will be strange cleaning up just after myself. I will miss the little dude though....
